Know fear

01May10

Whether a violent confrontation, public speaking or just being afraid of that spider, at some point in your life you will encounter {FEAR} of sum description.

What is fear? Often described as an unpleasant, strong emotion caused by anticipation of awareness of danger.

Fear often causes immobilization, or freeze syndrome in the recipient.

POSITIVE BODY ACCELERATOR

Your positive body accelerator is action, when you act by confronting your fear, adrenalin is utilized positively, adding vigor to your response if controlled.

NEGATIVE BODY ACCELERATOR

Your negative body accelerator is panic, caused when the reasoning process mistakes adrenalin for fear. Excess adrenalin is triggered by panic {but not utilized} and the body is flooded, leaving the recipient overwhelmed and often frozen in the face of ensuing danger.

A FEW HOME TRUTHS

* As long as you continue to learn and grow, fear will never go away.

* The only way to overcome the fear of doing something is to go out and do it.

* One of the best ways to feel better and get stronger is to go out and do it.

* Everyone feels fear, especially in unfamiliar territory.

Hence why this article is labelled Know fear and {Not} No fear. I believe the latter is untrue. So whilst I could go on into many more ways to describe fear, I would like to make everyone aware that nothing is impossible and nothing is unachievable.

Whether or not you are look to achieve greatness in the martial arts, career or home life, believe in yourself, take a deep breath……..you can do it.
